Stephanie Pletcher is a compassionate and dedicated family law attorney who guides clients through divorce, custody, and co-parenting challenges with clarity, empathy, and care. She is passionate about helping families find stability during difficult transitions—especially when children are involved.
Stephanie earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida and her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. During law school, she interned with the Honorable Judge Pamela Campbell in Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit and gained practical experience through a legal externship with Legal Aid of Manasota.
Stephanie’s strong professional relationships and reputation among fellow family law practitioners have led to her selection as a Super Lawyers® Rising Starin 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025—an honor awarded through peer nomination and reserved for the top family law attorneys in the state.
Stephanie’s passion for family law stems from a desire to protect children from the emotional toll that divorce and family conflict can bring. Stephanie’s work with organizations such as Guardian ad Litem, Gulf Coast Legal Services, and the Community Law Program reflects her ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable families and giving back to her community.
With a calm, client-centered approach, Stephanie is known for making her clients feel supported and heard. She works to resolve matters efficiently and amicably whenever possible—but isn’t afraid to advocate assertively when needed. Her goal: help clients move forward with confidence and peace of mind.
When she’s not practicing law, Stephanie enjoys traveling, playing with her dog, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning. She’s also an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and South Tampa Fellowship.
