Jonathan A. Bodden, ATTORNEY
Before he was charting legal strategies, Jonathan Bodden was charting courses across the globe—as a United States Merchant Marine, he sailed through the ports of Kenya, China, Argentina, and beyond. The job demanded discipline, resilience, and sharp decision-making under pressure—all qualities he now brings into the courtroom. Today, instead of commanding ships, he’s guiding Florida families through turbulent legal waters with steady leadership, strategic focus, and a calm, battle-tested presence that clients trust.
After earning his B.A. in Finance from the University of South Florida, Jonathan set his sights on the law, graduating with his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. He returned home to Florida and was admitted to the Florida Bar in October 2018.
Jonathan began his legal career at Grant & Dozier, LLC in Citrus County, handling a broad spectrum of civil matters—from litigation and probate to real estate closings and landlord-tenant disputes. But it was family law that ultimately called him.
In January 2022, he joined Anton Garcia Law in Tampa, where he now focuses exclusively on family law, representing clients in cases involving divorce, timesharing and visitation, equitable distribution, alimony, and child support.
Known for his reasoned, level-headed approach, Jonathan has earned the respect of clients and colleagues alike. He is a fierce advocate when it matters most—and a trusted guide when clients need clarity and compassion.
